Artist Statement
Passionate with alternative photography techniques as well as high end digital equipment. I am using both color and black and white film on daily basis mostly driven with documentary and conceptual film directors like Wenders, Herzog, Iñárritu which have an accent on atmospheric landscapes and complex characters.
My main theme which I have been occupied with since my younger days is exploring the neighborhood of my hometown. All the abounded houses near the river side, the mystical forest of the Great War Island, clashes of architectural styles, textures of the subterrane and the Danube’s evening haze are combined in my works.
I love to spend my free time in my friend’s darkroom experimenting with all kinds of combined developing techniques of negatives and prints.
